Delfino Richard Montoya Sr.

Delfino Richard Montoya Sr. 42 of Santa Fe, NM passed away on April 13, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Teresa Montoya, and his wife Janice Montoya.

He is survived by his daughters Janae Montoya (Maurice) of St. Louis, MO, Alana Waterman of Las Cruces. Sons Delfino Montoya Jr. (Amanda) of Santa Fe, Jonathan Leyba and James Flores of Santa Fe. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Lilianna George, Jadah Moncada, Destiny and Breanna Waterman. His sister Esther Arellanes (Nick), Ben Montoya (Jessica), Fabian Montoya (Katerina), Charles Montoya (Becky) and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Delfino worked for many years at Allegra Printing as a press operator, he also owned D&J Handy Services and loved to build, fix, and work with his hands. Delfino was a die-hard Denver Broncos Fan. He was a loving father and a great friend. Delfino enjoyed making everyone laugh and lending a helping hand whenever he could. Delfino will be missed dearly, will never be forgotten and will live inour hearts and memories forever.

A Rosary was recited on Monday, April 21, 2014 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Santa Fe, NM. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at St. Anne's. Interment took place at Rosario Cemetery following the funeral mass.
