I would like to convey my sympathy to you in the loss of your loved one. I didn't know Elba personally but I do understand the pain of losing one so dear to you. I lost my father and then my younger brother. We recieved many notes of encouragement from friends, family and even those we never met. I also found comfort in reading the scriptures as I'm sure you do also.I just wanted to share with you a few of my favorites.John 11:11,14-44 shares with us a wonderful experience of a man named Lazarus. We can only imagine the tears of joy when everyone gathered there heard Jesus call out in a loud voice,"Lazarus, come forth!" and before the very eyes of everyone there he walked toward them from his memorial tomb. We too will experience that same joy, when John 5:25-28 is fulfilled.
Cherish to the fond memories, you shared together, remember the things you learned by being a part of her life and pass it on to others and her legacy will live on in you as well as those you share it with.
Take care of yourself so you can be there for those who love and need you now.
