Elias R. Baca, 66, a resident of Santa Fe, was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 5th, 2023.
Elias is proceeded in death by his parents, Louis and Adelina Baca. Siblings Rudy Baca, Michael Baca, and Louis Baca.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Baca and fur babies Pachuco and Cocoa Baca. Sister-in-laws Patricia Baca and Roberta Duran. God-son Michael Oman and wife Jett, God-daughter Maria LeRouge-Kerr and Husband Jeremiah, God-son Isaiah LeRouge, and many other nephews, nieces, and relatives and friends.
Elias was an avid body builder and won the Masters light-heavy weight novice title in The Mid USA Champions in March of 1992. He worked as a Meat Processor at Albertsons for many years until he retired. You would find him out at local dog parks walking his dogs.
Serving the family as pallbearers, Tim Baca and Isaiah LeRouge.
A rosary will be recited at Rivera Funeral Home, 417 E. Rodeo Road, Santa Fe, NM on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. followed by prayer service.
