Elizabeth Kilpert

Elizabeth Ma Kilpert, age 83, of Taos passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Holy Cross Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, to parents Ella Caswell and Albert Munson. She was a true New Yorker in accent and attitude, and she never let you forget it. She will rest in peace with her husband of 39 years, Richard Kilpert at Calverton National Cemetery in Long Island, New York. She is survived by her four loving children, daughters, Elizabeth Lucero, husband, John, Barbara Andrews, husband, Arthur, Julie Spears, husband, John, and so,n Richard Kilpert, wife, Marites. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Everyone who had the good fortune to have met her was instantly touched by her feistiness and humor and she will always be remembered by this. In her seven years of living here she enjoyed the warmth and kindness of the people of Taos.
She lived a long and blessed life making friends wherever she went.
