Mrs. Martinez was my typing teacher at Espanola High School. I graduated in 1964 and was blessed to have known such a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Mrs. Martinez was one of the best teachers I ever had! I was blessed to learn typing and shorthand from her. She was tough, but she was fair! I had only admiration and respect for her. May Our Lord Jesus comfort you in the death of such a wonderful lady!

Bobby, Ronald and Family. We share your sorrow as well- for your mother was no longer Mrs. Martinez to us, but Aunt Betsy. Aunt Betsy meant the world to our son, Jonathan. He spoke very highly of her. We will always cherish the moments we spent with her and Grandma R. Our love to you during this time of sorrow. Class of 1966.

I was so sadden to hear of your Mom. I had always admired and loved her she was a wonderful and caring person. I always enjoyed visiting with her everytime I saw her at the Casino. May God Rest her soul.
I am just getting over the Flu and will not be abe to attend any of the services. But you and your family will be in my heart and prayers.

Mrs. Martinez has always been my very favorite teacher! We either got an "A" or and "F" in our typing work. I love that she expected the best from us and no less. She wanted us to write to her each March 17th (St. Patrick's Day), and let her know what was happening in our lives. I asked her a couple of years ago if she had a computer. She answered a definite "NO". She said that students today don't know how to spell because of computers. I will forever love and treasure this dear woman! She definitely was my favorite teacher!
