Emma E. Tafoya, age 90 of Talpa passed away on December 16, 2021 just 4 days after her 90th birthday. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Rachel Ruddy and Zandra Velarde, son in law, Trinidad Velarde, her parents, Alberto and Felicitas Tafoya, brothers, Max and Leo Tafoya, sisters, Prescilla Esch and Susanita Tafoya. She is survived by her only son Albert, daughter in law, Romey Gonzales, son in law, Michael Ruddy, siblings, Manuel Tafoya (Mary), Evangeline Tafoya, Ruby Martinez (Norman), Yolanda Tafoya, Santiago Tafoya (Ruby), sister in laws, Rose and Elva Tafoya and brother in law, Thomas Esch, 10 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren numeros godchildren, nieces and nephews along with many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to her sister Yolanda Tafoya, godson Jonathan Miera, sister Evangeline Tafoya and Ambercare Hospice for the caring of our beloved Emma.
Services will be a viewing on December 21, 2021 at 6:00 om at Rivera Chapel. Rosary will be recited on December 22, 2021 at 9:00 am with Funeral mass at 10:00 am at San Francisco de Assisi Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Talpa Cemetery.
