Dad, It’s only been a few weeks since you’ve been gone but the day’s seem endless. Nothing is the same. We miss hearing your voice and we miss not being able to see you. Your grand-babies miss you deeply and call out for their grampa. You were a big part of my life and you will continue to be. I will not let your grandchildren forget what a wonderful grandfather you were and I will never forget what a wonderful father you were to me. I am grateful for the last day we spent together when I whispered into your ear “I love you” and in a soft voice you repeated those words to me. Thank you dad, for always being there for me. I am so proud to be your daughter.
