Eufelio Sanchez

Eufelio Sanchez, 88, of Taos passed away on February 12, 2008. He was founder of the Taos ARC and retired after 32 years of service as a social worker for the NM Social Services. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Cenovia Sanchez, great granddaughters, Santana Cordova & Marisol Montano, son-in-law, Isaac Gonzales, brother, Gomercindo Sanchez and sister, Mary Martinez. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Adonelia Sanchez, children, Lorraine Sanchez, Gilbert Sanchez (Lena), Erlinda Gonzales, Virginia Ibarra (John), Arturo, Eddie and Christopher Sanchez. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Joe Sanchez (Alice), Andreita DeAguero, Josephine Atencio, Crucita Valencia (Leo), Jessie Sanchez (Josie) and many other relatives.

Rosary was recited on Thursday, February 14, 2008. Funeral mass was held on Friday, February 15, 2008. Both services were held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment was held at Sierra Vista Cemetery.
