Biography


Eufrocine (Eufie) M. Varos, age 90 of Taos went home to be with the Lord Jesus, on December 21st, 2009. She was born September 17, 1919 in Cerro, N.M. Eufie was a loving wife of 69 years and a mother of four daughters. She taught her daughters by example. Eufie and her husband Ernest founded Good News Christian Fellowship in 1977. She loved to read, study and teach the Word of God. Her children will always remember her by her loving kindness and honest integrity. Eufie is survived by her husband Ernest Varos, her four daughters: Naomi (Luis) Martinez, Florence Ankersmit, Pastors Deborah (Rudy) Martinez, Hazel (Paul) Hall, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one niece Pearl Olivas-Anaya. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pablo and Lucinda Martinez, her sister Delia Mondragon, and her two toddler sons, Ernest and Enoch.

Memorial service will be held at Good News Christian Fellowship, 933 Ranchitos Road, on December 27th, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.
