As the 7th Anniversary of Eva's passing nears, I wish to again express my condolences, thoughts and prayers to my good and respected friend, Ed, and his family on the loss of his beautiful and loved daughter. Even though it will be seven years ago, the pain never ceases and the thought of her is present daily. May God continue to walk with the Abreu family....they will be united again. God Bless You All and may Eva continue to rest in eternal peace.

I'am so very sorry for your loss. Eva and I met in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory in 2006 as she was traveling through on her first trip to Alaska. I spent a few days cycling and hiking with her as I showed her some sights in the nearby National Park. She was extremely excited about going to Alaska. After she left we corresponded for a while and later she invited me to visit her in Valdez. Though I only knew her for a brief four months she was a shining light and kindred spirit. There are rare people that some are priveledged to cross paths with in this life. Eva is one of those rare people. It is crushing to know that she is gone, but I will forever remember the time we shared. There can be no more fitting a legacy for someone than the impact they made on others. I do not know if I have any photos of Eva, but I would be happy to send any that I do.
