Fran was just a delight, always such a kind heart with her words and requests, I had the opportunity to visit her several times after taking a different job after home instead! I have also cut Frans hair [I'm a cosmetologist as well as a nurse] or repaired one attempt of her cutting her bangs out of her eyes, This very organized lady and mentor to many will certianly be missed, but never forgotten! Your knowledge was spread fast and wide with a very humble demeanor! May you fly high Fran and rest eternally in peace

As a member and sometimes Chair of the Transportation Board, I had more than a few interactions with the County Council. Interacting with Fran always reinforced my trust and admiration for small government. Fran lived down the street from us and although we saw less of her in later years, a chat was always fun. Fran was the kind of Republican that was the best of the GOP. Godspeed, Dr. Berting.
