Frances R Chavez

Frances passed away peacefully at Christus St. Vincent Hospital of Santa Fe. Frances is survived by her husband Eugene J Chavez Jr., her only son Leonard J Chavez, her sister Nancy Aremendarez, her brothers Chris Cordova and David Cordova, her sister- in- law Gloria Cordova; and many nieces and nephews. Frances worked for Santa Fe school as a lunch and breakfast cashier for about 25 years. She also worked at La Fonda Hotel as head banquet waitresses for about 25 years. She was one of the original Harvey Waitresses. She enjoyed two things in life: Bingo and Casino slots machines.

A celebration of her life was held on October 3, 2012 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel in Santa Fe followed by a rosary. Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on October 4, 2012 at Our Lady Guadalupe Church.

The family also wishes to thank PMS home care/the hospice for their thoughtful and respectful care of Frances the last 7 days of her life. Thanks for everything from the family.
