I met Frutoso when he was 15-16 years old. I was his neighbor in Des Montes. He helped me build a house. The sweetest man I have ever met. When the work was finished, I invited him to dinner at Frenchy's La Dona Luz restaurant. That would have been around 1978-79. We had martinis, elegant special order dinner prepared by the chef, chocolate mouse dessert, and Courvoisier for after dinner drinks. We both got boracho and had the best time. I will never forget
Frutoso, his beautiful spirit, or that dinner. Good memories!
