Furgencio Pedro Lopez “Pete” passed away on Sunday March 17, 2024. Pete was born in Agua Fria Village on January 4, 1930. Pete is survived by his beloved wife Angie of nearly 55 years. Pete is preceded in death by his parents Federico and Magdalena Lopez. He is survived by his children; daughter Lucinda Lopez, son Matthew Lopez (wife Katrina), son Daniel Lopez and daughter Magdalena Lopez. Pete is preceded in death by his grandson Arthur and survived by his granddaughter Katalina Lopez, and grandson Matias Lopez. He is preceded in death by his siblings Eustaquio “Joe” Lopez, Ida Lopez, and Reymundo “Rey” Lopez. He is survived by his siblings Antonio “Tony” Lopez and Rita “Nattie” Lopez. He is survived by his In-laws; Rachel Escondon (husband Antonio), Christine Gonzales and Richard Gonzales (wife Grace). He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Pete was a 1947 graduate of Santa Fe High School. His work ethic started when he was 10 years old working as a caddy at the Santa Fe Country Club, leading to working at the Burns Hospital as a teenager doing odd jobs. He worked at the Santa Fe New Mexican for 35 years as a printer. He grew up attending San Isidro Church and was passionate about his faith in God all his life. He was an avid fan of the UNM Lobos. Pete cared deeply, always provided support and loved his family.

Rosary starts at 9:15am
Mass starts at 10:00am
