I have not seen either of you in decades. I worked for Gary when he had his office above the Apple Tree. He was truly one of the kindest, sweetest, enjoyable people to work with. I'm sure you know that! My prayers are with all of you and I can see by the letters, that love is all around you...

Elaine and Girls, we were so saddened to learn that Gary passed away last Friday. I have very fond memories of our college days together at Miami University. We also had some great times living together at the Pike House. In my few visits to Taos, I remember how proud Gary was for first serving on the School Board, and later helping to bring about the charter school. He was really focused on developing educational opportunities for kids. He was a great spouse, father and friend. I will miss him. Don/mole & Eileen

I have the good fortune of knowing Gary & family because we were fortunate to share Colorado Rockies tickets in the row right behind the Emblers. Gary & brother-in-law Carl knew a baseball geek when they saw one and we hit it off right away. We also shared similar taste in music. Gary always asked me how I was doing healthwise, no matter how tough things were for him personally. I know that anyone who knows Gary will not be surprised by that, as it it one of the many reasons Gary has so many people who loved him and cared about him so very much.

Our deepest sympathy is with you in the loss of your dear husband/dad. He will remain always, an inspiration in his dedicated service to education and the well being of children.
