Geoffrey - As your Dad seemed to find his greatest happiness just before he died, it seems that you, too, found happiness. How happy I was to read so many testimonials where people spoke of your humor and kindness. I'm so pleased that age had given you such graces and that you and Bradley became close. Only today did I read of your death - 7 days after what would have been your 60th birthday here on earth. Blessings to you. I shall have a candle lit for you and a Mass said.

A fun loving, good natured guy who enjoyed friends, life and adventure. If you needed a shoulder to cry on or just talk to he was always there to help. He was a friend to everyone he met.
He is deeply missed by all who knew him.

Geoff was an awesome guy who touched everyone he came in contact with in one way or another. I used to tell him what a crotchety old fart he was, because most of the time he acted like that. He was very proud of being crotchety which used to really crack me up. He was very good with my girls. He taught them to play Keno about as well as he played, which was a good thing so hopefully they will never have a gambling problem. Geoff was great and I will miss him very much.

We are so lucky to have him become part of our family, even if it was for far too short a time. All of our family holidays will never shine as bright without him there to bring the vino to get us in the holiday "spirit".
He was a gentleman and a gentle man.

Characters as unique as Geoff don't come along that often. No matter what the situation he could elicit a smile or laugh. A world class story teller, he was special.

Always remember one of Geoff's favorite sayings "Kindness is never inappropriate." Perhaps we could practice his philosophy to honour his life and keep him in our hearts.
I feel very lucky to have been his friend and to know how special he was.

Although my heart is broken I am so happy to have had such a wonderful brother. I know how important it was for him to finally move to Taos to be with the only family he had and it warmed my heart to hear him say recently "I've never had a bad day in Taos". As the bumper sticker on his car read
"If I ain't happy here I ain't happy nowhere". He died a very content man and I'm grateful for our time together before his passing. I love you, Geoff. I'll meet you at the crux.

Geoff was the definition of WYSIWYG: as straight a shooter as you can get. He always had the best attitude and a refreshingly sharp line of humor. I hope he enjoyed his last year or so in Taos: he certainly deserved it. I can see him now taking his last chopper ride ...
