George Rivali

Biography

George E. Rivali, 70, of Taos passed away on December 21, 2006. He retired in December of 1999 from the Taos Municipal Schools where he worked as a mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents Luis and Albessa Rivali. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Emilia (Millie) Rivali, sons, G. Wayne Rival (Tina) and Luis A. Rivali (Melanie) both of Taos, sisters, Rose Clark (Dan), Elsie Lucero (Lee), Flora Torres (Ernest), Elva Tafoya (Leo), Ginger Spivey (Gene), Jane Trujillo (Archie), sisters-in-law, Frances Martinez, Polly Varos (Bobby), Juanita Roybal (Carpio Romero).

Rosary was recited on Friday, December 22, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Funeral mass was held on December 23, 2006 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment was held at the Rivali Family Cemetery in Taos.
