It is with great sadness that the family of Gilbert ( Truchas) Pacheco announces his passing, on Sat. Dec. 17, 2022. He was a very generous, hard working soul and well respected in the community! Always willing to lend a hand!! Our dearly loved Truchas will be greatly missed!! He is survived by his beloved mother, Dolores Pacheco, Daughter, Melissa Anglada, granddaughters, Azariah Cayama and Aaliyah Hulett, brothers, Edward Pacheco, Leroy Pacheco, sister in law, Carmelita, Ronnie Pacheco, and Ricky Casias, sisters, Lori Lee Pacheco and Diana Martinez, brother in law, John, many beloved nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 9 AM with funeral mass to follow at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taos.

Gilbert,
I’m so saddened and shocked by the news of you passing. I wish I could have seen you one more time and got another hug from you. From when I was a teenager, you always gave me your strong words of advice. When I was with Liss you always treated like I was one of your own as well. My deepest condolences to Melissa, the girls and the rest of your family. Once again, God only takes the best. Rest in peace and tell my Mom, Grandma, Popise & Grampo Monjo hi for me. My Prayers are with you all through this difficult journey.

Gramps was the best man i knew and kindest heart i know many people were helped by him in the last months of his life. He was a real one till the very end!! He would take me and my friends to lagoon me AND her money to spend. Love him so much still.

Truchas may you be at peace. I pray you have been greeted with open arms by our dear Lord and loved ones that have passed. May your reunion be filled with love and rejoicing. God bless you and keep you close to his heart, I pray you will never be alone or afraid.

My uncle Fish was one amazing man. He definitely knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. Im going to always remember his laugh, his spanglish, and his one of a kind dance moves. But most of all, I'm going to miss his warm heart. To say he's going to be missed is an understatement. I will never forget him.
