Grace Raquel Antonia Gallegos, age 34, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on April 22, 2022. She was born on May 20, 1987 at Los Alamos Medical Center. Grace was a lifelong resident of Hernandez, NM.
Grace is preceded in death by her sister Melony Roberta, paternal grandparents Robert and Bernie Gallegos, Uncle Jake and wife Josephine, Aunt Maria, Uncle Tony Leo, Cousin Joe, and Godfather Leroy Salazar.
Grace is survived by her loving son Josiah Martinez, loving parents Robert and Linda, sister Arianna (David), nephews Andy, Caleb, Tommy and Marcus, maternal grandparents Leo and Lucille Maestas, Uncle Melvin, Aunt Darlene (Arturo), and lots of other cousins, family and friends.
Grace attended Holy Cross School and Espanola High School. After graduation, she worked at Los Alamos National Labs. Then worked with Mosaic, caring for people with special needs. Then she went on to work with Las Cumbres.
Grace loved to go hunting and fishing with her son and dad. She also enjoyed going camping with her friend Martina, sister Arianna and cousin Julie. She loved to eat, always saying, “Thank you God, This is so good.” Her furry dog Chico will miss her. Grace also enjoyed putting on her make-up and dressing in her black and silver Raiders attire.
Grace will be remembered for her big heart and personality. Graces pride and joy was her one and only son Josiah. She enjoyed spending time with her nephews, family and friends. Throughout her life she touched many lives with her big heart and would do anything to help someone in need. She was very loved and will be missed by many. Most deeply by her son Josiah, who will forever feel a gap in his heart for his beloved mother.
Thank you to all for your prayers during her accident in September. Thank you all for the love, prayers, visits to our home, all the food and monetary donations during this time of grieving. May God Bless you all.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are; Tommy, Marcus, Elizabeth, Isaiah, Damian, Martina, Julie, and David.
Services will be on Wednesday May 4, 2022 with the Rosary at 2:00 PM and Mass at 3:00 PM at San Jose Church in Hernandez, NM. Burial will follow at the San Jose Cemetery.

My dearest Linda (SIC) I am so sorry to hear about your daughter Grace’s passing. I don't even know what to say. I can't imagine what you're going through. Life just doesn’t seem fair sometimes and this is one of those moments.
