Biography


Greg Sandoval was reborn into the heavens on October 31st.  Born and raised in Santa Fe, Greg will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, his eclectic music and love of animals. He enjoyed biking, weight lifting and cooking healthy food.  Greg was a talented bass player, DJ, vocalist and writer of poetry and rap songs.  He was an avid reader, deep thinker and traveler.  Greg's religion was kindness and easily made friends wherever he went.  He had a special relationship with his mom, Viola Montoya, stepdad, John Andrews (Pop), his sister Sophia Montoya Andrews, niece, Sonia, his girlfriend of 6 years, Crystal Romero and her son, Santino.


He is survived by his only child, Shaunna Justus whom he loved deeply, and by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He is deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed!


Please join us for memorial services to be held at Rivera Family Funerals at 417 Rodeo Rd. Spanish rosary to be led by Hermanos Penitentes de Abiquiu on Friday, January 6th at 6:30 PM and Memorial Service on Sunday, January 8th, 1:30 to 2:30 PM, followed by Reception at SF Women's Club at 1616 Old Pecos Trail.
