Debbie and Lynn, I'm so sorry to hear of Griff's passing. I have the distinct memories of him being a kind and caring man to me through my high school years and beyond. He will be missed. I'm keeping you and your whole family in my prayers.

Griff Dodge was always reliable- fair, helpful, ethical, wry and steady. He was the definition of solid.

Best memory of my uncle: riding in the back of his two-seat Sportscar enroute to the ballet or opera. Late 60s when Griff was stationed at the Pentagon. I loved that time with him and my mom. Funniest story: Also while living in "DC", before he had an apartment in Washington, he would come and stay with us from time to time. For some reason, our Siamese, Kitchen, had an issue with Griff and, if given the opportunity, would pee in Griff's suitcase. Even got into his car once to befoul his clothes. Never did it to another person. Must have been an alpha male thing.
