Ignacita Martinez

Ignacita S. Martinez age 92, a resident of Espanola and also a long time resident of Santa Fe, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2007. She is survived by her daughters: Andrea Lovato and husband Roger and their children Peter, Gina and Roger Jr., Maxine Tena and her daughter Donna Gomez all of Santa Fe and Bessie Castañeda and her daughters Maria Castañeda and Georgina Salazar and husband Moses all of Rio Rancho; a special granddaughter, Betty Mozelewski and her daughters Nicole Baldwin and husband Shawn and Melissa Froelich and husband Dean all of North Carolina; a special grandson, David Mozelewski and wife Linda of Tennessee; raised as a daughter, Roberta Estrella Abeyta and her children, Zion and Lilith of Santa Fe; special nephew, Alfonso Martinez; special niece, Angie Maestas all of Chili; special grand-niece, Simme Reyes and husband George of Rio Chama; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and many friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 in the chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at San Antonio Catholic Church in Medanales at 11:00 am. with Father Terry Brennan officiating, with the burial to follow at San Antonio Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Moses Salazar, Alfonso Martinez, Clyde Martinez, Joseph Maestas, Jerry Arnold Garcia and Peter Lovato. Honorary pallbearers will be Beatrice Gonzales, Lorraine Montoya, Michelle Vigil Sanchez, Carolina Madrid, Daniel Martinez, Roger Lovato, Jr., George Mejia and her beloved Montana.
