EI wish to express my heartfelt sorrow at the passing of Mr. Ben Trujillo. I met him several times at the University of Colorado Denver, Ethnic Studies Open House each September. He was an avid supporter of higher education and sponsored an annual student scholarship each year at the University of Colorado, Department of Ethnic Studies.He was a true visionary who will be missed by all who have ever come in contact with him.

I am so sorry on Bennie's(This is how Neta, his mom, would call him) passing. You and the rest of your family is in my prayers. If you need anything please let me know. Bennie and you mother in law were and still are very special to me.

We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. The pain never ends, but neither do the beautiful memories. Keep those memories forever in your heart and talk about the good times as often as possible. Count each moment, not as one away from Ben, but one moment closer to being with him again. For the Bible calls death an "enemy", and God promises that he will bring it "to nothing".(1 Corinthians 15:26) This promise of God will do away with death and the pain it causes. It is my sincere hope and prayer that this will comfort your hearts.
