Jack,

You will be greatly missed. The conversations from overseas and all you did for the better of everyone else around you will not be forgotten. You are truly a great man and role model for those of us that new you. I thank you for the presence in my life that changed me for the better.

To the family of Jack I wish to express my deepest condolences. I served with Jack in Afghanistan as one of the team medics. Jack was an incredible mentor, wise counselor, great friend and a great soldier. Though his chair is now empty at the table, his memory will live on as long as his comrads draw breath. God Bless you, Jack

Jack and I went to both grade school and high school together in Kalamazoo, MI. We were best friends before we knew about boyfriends and girlfriends. We had lost touch over the years of our "grown up lives" and recently touched base through our class reunion site. What fun we had remembering our parents and brothers and sisters and sharing stories of our youth. I am very glad that we were able to do that shortly before Jack's passing....but it breaks my heart to have lost my friend again.

I served with Jack in Afghanistan and on the border mission. No matter what he was there to help you when you needed it. He took on tasks that a man half his age would have balked at and just kept chugging away and kidding us when we show our fatigue. I will always remember the book writing and sitting around sharing a cigar and listening to his funny stories (usually case histories). He was a great mentor for me as well as a true friend. He will be truely missed but I guess someone up there needed a good legal counsel.

Jack,

I was so fortunate to have been asked to support you and your team while you were in Afghanistan - my heart is broken that you are gone. I was trying to email you that I was moving to Arizona and would love to stop to see you when I found that your email no longer worked... So, you know me... I went searching... And I found you here. You will be dearly missed!

Hugz,
Babs
