Jackie Nadine Ferran, 48, was called home to our Lord on Sunday July 30, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1975 in Leadville, CO to Lloyd and Wanda Ferran. She was the oldest sibling of five children.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Julius Ferran and Ascension Romero; maternal grandparents Fernando D. Martinez and Arolinda V. Martinez; brother Jesus Ferran; godparents Manuel and Lynn Martinez.
Jackie loved her children and grandchildren, they were the light of her life.
Jackie is survived by her parents Lloyd and Wanda Ferran; daughter Kayla Ferran; sons Johnny Velasquez, Joseph (Jojo) Ferran (AngelicaMartinez), Justin and Jordan Marshall; grandchildren Adalynn, Alani and Ayden; sisters Loyda (Uriel), Teresa (Patrick), and brother Lloyd Ferran; a special aunt Felicia Martinez; many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Cremation is being planned. Services are pending.

My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers for Kayla, Johnny, Jojo, Justin and Jordan may you find peace in knowing your momma is resting in paradise now. I met Jackie more than 23 years ago at Tax & Rev and we back family/sisters. I am so heartbroken speechless. Jackie you were such a strong, loving, caring, compassionate woman that I will miss so very much. We had our ups and downs but we always helped and loved each other so much. Jackie, it’s been 3 months since the worst day of my life. I have been so devastated and heartbroken since you left this world. I miss you more and more as every day passes. You were the most beautiful person inside and outside that I ever met and I had such dreams and hopes for our future. I tried so hard to make a better life for you because you deserved it so much. Luckily I have Glezak and Dolph as memories of you. I read the many beautiful letters you wrote all the time and cry every time I read them. You were my world and My life is so empty without you. and I still think you’ll walk in my door at any time. I know you are in a better place now and finally at peace but selfishly I wish you were with me and I know your family wishes the same. . Jackie was one of my very best friends. We grew up together until I moved away . She was one of the few friends that was there for me when my brother Marcus passed away and for that alone I am forever grateful for our friendship. She was a strong women who no matter our disagreements we always loved each other. I am glad I had her as my friend and she will always be in my heart. I will forever miss her beautiful smile.
