James Adam Garcia born March 14, 1977 and raised in Santa Fe, NM passed away 08/03/2023 with his loving wife by his side. James loved to fish and camp, to be in the mountains helping his dad get wood for the winter. He especially loved to take road trips with his wife to different states and site see. James loved the holidays because he loved all the food. James always tried to make people laugh and would try to give others what they needed. During his last days him and his wife drove to the canyon for a picnic and to listen to the river run. He loved to be around his brother Joesph and sister Devon. He always shared his memories of when he worked and traveled with his brother Robert. He loved to share the memories he had about helping to raise his brother Rick and his nephews. He had special memories with each of his siblings that he shared often.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert Garcia and Mary Garcia, his brother Anthony Garcia, and his father-in-law Andrew Ortiz. His best friend (dog) Lucky. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Angela Ortiz-Garcia, and their three dogs Lucy, Patch and Girly, brothers: Robert Garcia (Rebecca), Joesph Garcia (Annie), Rick Garcia (Antoinette), sisters Aggie Ortega, Caroline Flores, Devon Giron (Larry), Laura Romero (John), Godson Andrew Giron and daughter Stephanie Garcia, grandchildren Emily, Lynette, and Ethan. Many nieces and nephews all of whom were very special to James.
Angela would like to thank Ambercare, and his doctors especially Dr. Galen Loughrey for the care he received

My sister Angela my deepest condolences to you. My heart breaks to see you going through such trying times. Dad and James would be so proud of how you are handling this. As the hardest times are still ahead I know you will think of James and the memories you had together.
