Joe O. Cordova Junior
My beloved brother left his body February 4, 2024 and set himself free. We celebrate this for him and will greatly miss his physical presence. He is not gone, but lives within each of us he has touched.
Junior was born in Santa Fe to Onesimo and Amanda Cordova. Junior is preceded in death by his siblings; Edna, Lolita, Gilbert, Fidel, Jose, Bernabe, Jose Zebedeo, Modesto, Seferino, and Josephine. He is survived by his siblings Ramon Cordova and Gloria McIntyre.
Junior was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe and retired from the City of Santa Fe. A proud patriot and veteran of the US Army. In the intervening years he became a counselor to others.
Brother, we have traveled together through joyous and challenging times, but we will meet again. A rosary will take place at
St John the Baptist Catholic Church
1301 Osage Ave-Santa Fe 87505
On February 20, 2024, at 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass.
Burial will be after the mass at Santa Fe National Cemetery 501 N. Guadalupe St. 87501

Junior you will be missed we wanted to see you more my memories of you were enjoyable visiting having breakfast with you and your mom in your home. I always felt you as my brother. You would visit when my kid

This is Arthur Lee Even though you were kept from me the months you were sick. I will look for you then and before. And everybody knows what i mean by looking for him. He was not only my uncle he was my brother. He was my heart and life and i will miss dearly. And i will LOOK for him when im gone from this world. God bless him and keep always with all my love. Uncle you were always like a father to me when I needed you you were there no question asked I regret not visiting with you more. And when you closed your eyes for the last time I wish I was there to hold your hand well you took your journey home to my grandfather and grandmother. Uncle Jr I wish I would’ve visited you more! We forgot that life is to short and expect we all will be here forever. Wish I could have been there holding your hand well you closed your eyes for the last time but I know it was your time to go home to grandpa and grandma and all your brothers and sisters. I will miss our time together and thank you for always helping me with no questions asked. I love you and rest in peace

Until we meet again Uncle. I am so glad that I got to know you these last couple of years. Your kindness and generosity to others was a testament to the person you were. The beautiful things you said about your life and loves… how much you admired my mother will live with me forever. Rest in peace ♥️
