Known as "Little Joe" passed away peacefully on September 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving wife Rosemary and family. Dad was a native of Santa Fe, NM, and proud owner of Home Beautifying Paint Co. for over 40 years. He was involved in the community throughout his life. He coached Little League Baseball for 20 years, coached a woman's softball team to Nationals, trained a World Champion Kickboxer, but his proudest accomplishment was as Choir Director at Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Anne's Church. Dad loved his animals, the RAIDERS, Boxing, Hot Rods, and most of all his wife of 67 years.Joe is proceeded in death by his mother Stella Crespin-Griego, brother Raul Griego, son Joseph Griego Jr., grandson John Grimley, In-Laws Sixto and Kate Martinez.He is survived by his wife Rosemary, sons Ronnie Griego (Margaret), Frank Cruz, daughters Florence Jorgensen (Jorgy), Bernice Hopmeier (WB), Denise Dean-Lewton (Dave), granddaughter Melissa Padilla (Rick), daughter-in-law Tammy Griego, 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and many family friends.Serving as pallbearers will be JD Dean, Koko Dean, Luke Padilla, RonnieJoe Griego, Julian Griego, GeraldJoe Grimley, Diego Cruz & Jesus Ramirez.Services will be on Monday, September 25th at St. Anne's Church. Rosary 9:00am, Mass 10:00am, Burial at Rosario Cemetery 11:30pm, Reception to follow at St. Anne's Parish Hall. Flowers can be sent to Rivera Family Funerals.
