Fermie Lujan published a tribute .

My dear brother Joe was so loved by me and all his siblings. He deeply cared for us and often visited our parents daily. It was because of him that we had a beautiful home to grow up in. He was a great example of doing hard work to achieve our goals. He raised his five young children alone after our dear Rose Ann passed away refusing to separate them. You’ll be in our thoughts and prayers each day. You left so many wonderful memories for us to share with each other and others
I will love you always and think of you each day.
