Jose Abiguel Maes

Jose Abiguel Maes, 94, of Ranchos de Taos passed away on April 24, 2007. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lourdes Maes. He is survived by his children, Imelda Abeita (Fernando) of Isleta Pueblo, David Maes (Margarita) of Mexico City, Michael Maes (Bernadette) of Ranchos de Taos, Bernadette Bachtel (Charles) of Rio Rancho and Mary Agnes Burlingame (Yost) of Taos. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Margarita Anaya of Taos, Sister Maria Maez of Michigan, Paul Maes (Mary Alice) of Albuquerque, Herman Maes (Ruth) of Espanola and many other relatives.

Rosary was recited on April 25, 2007. Funeral mass was held on April 26, 2007. Both services were held at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Interment was held on April 27, 2007 at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
