Jose G. Lucero

Biography


Jose G. Lucero, 70, of Arroyo Seco passed away on December 31, 2006. He was a former chief of police for the Town of Taos and Lt. Colonel in the US National Guard. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and was a graduate of the FBI Academy. He is preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Lucero, great uncle and aunt who raised him, Pedro & Virginia Lucero. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia Lucero, daughter, Maria Montoya and husband, Martin and grandson, Miguel Montoya as well as children from a previous marriage, Tony, Michael, Robert, William, Mary, Helen and Donna, many grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Rosary was recited on Wednesday, January 03, 2007. Funeral mass was held on Thursday, January 04, 2007. Both services were held at Holy Trinity Church in Arroyo Seco. Interment was held at Arroyo Seco Cemetery.
