Biography


Jose Ignacio Arellano, passed away on November 27, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Laurencio and Memoranda Arellano, and his loving wife of 50 years Lillian Arellano, his son, Harvey Arellano Sr., two grandsons, Arnold Jr. and Amos Arellano, five sisters and four brothers.
He was a lifetime farmer and a dedicated member of the Apostolic Praise Temple in Dixon, NM.
He is survived by his daughter, Velma Sanchez (Pastor Salomon), of Dixon. Son, Arnold Arellano (Mary) of Dixon, grandsons, Salomon III (Brenda) of Albuquerque, Daniel Arellano of Dixon, Harvey Arellano Jr. and wife of Espanola, granddaughter Elena Gurule (Matthew) of Dixon, two great grandsons Salomon IV, and Matthew II, great granddaughter Lilliana Arellano. He is also survived by three sisters.
A Wake Service was held on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Apostolic Praise Temple Church in Dixon, NM. The Funeral was held on Monday, December 2, 2013 also at the Apostolic Praise Temple Church. Officiating was Rev. Salomon Sanchez, Jr. and Dr. Salamon Sanchez III. Interment took place at the Dixon/Apostolic Cemetery in Dixon, NM.
Pallbearers were Matthew Gurule, Lawrence Herrera, Michael Griego, Toby Suazo, Danny Lovato, and Gerald Arellano
