Gracias a Dios

Biography

Our loving Jose Tarin passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022 at Presbyterian Hospital in Espanola, New Mexico after a brief illness. Jose was surrounded by his family at the time of passing.

Jose was a very caring person and made friends easily with everyone he encountered. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to help someone in need. Most of his weekends where spent catching up on phone calls, checking in with all of his family wishing them well and greeting everyone with “Gracias a Dios”. His family referred to him as "Chamion". Some of things he enjoyed doing where spending his time with his brother Esequiel and growing the family business Tarin Custom Homes, caring for the grounds of an old church, taking care of plants, listening to music, and laughing. Jose also cared dearly for all of his family.

Special thank you to Hermano Daniel and Father John for their compassion and care in a moment’s notice.

Jose's family has entrusted the gentle care of their beloved to Rivera Family Funerals & Cremations of Espanola, NM.
