Babe,
One year ago, you left me to be with our Lord in Heaven and now my Guardian Angel. I miss you so much, your smile, your eyes, your kisses, your touch, your laughter, and everything else about you. Though you're gone, you're still here in my heart. You sure left your mark in my heart. It wasn't long enough together, but it was long enough to last forever.
I choose to be thankful, not to be sad for all of the wonderful years that we had. You gave me a smile that no one could steal. You gave me a purpose, in life that was real. You gave me a blessing, like no other could. When I by was confused, you understood. You gave me much more than I could ever repay. God put peace in my heart when he called you away. Though I stand by your grave, I shall not shed a tear. I'll always be thankful because you were here. Rest in peace my beloved husband. and let the perpetual light shine upon you.
