Andrew Sisneros published a tribute .

Charlie, the only Dad I ever knew and loved. You took me in and I didn't understand why. You we're my mentor in life. You once told me that you would have traveled any distance for me. You proved that to me. You taught me to work hard and with integrity, and if I ever wanted to have anything in life that is how it would be achieved. You had a hard upbringing, but you wanted a better life for all your Children. I believe that you don't have anything to regret when it comes to our upbringing. I told you that I did not regret the experiences you shared with me and that you should not leave us with any regrets. I expressed all of this to you during your final hour. I also expressed to you that you are loved. I reminded you that Jesus would be waiting for you. As far as how much I miss you and would give anything to share another moment with you, there are no words to express. I am writing this to share only a snapshot of the life you lived and shared with your loved ones. Your memory lives on in me for the rest of my life until the day I meet Jesus face to face. At that time we will rejoicec and share another fishing adventure together.
