Juan P. Chavez

Juan P. Chavez, 73, of Santa Fe, passed away April 28, 2010.

He is preceded in death by his parents Cardenio and Fautina Chavez, brothers Marcelino, Ernesto (Nettie), and Tochito Chavez.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Beatrice Chavez of Santa Fe; children, David and wife Dorothy Chavez of Las Vegas, NM, Lenora Chavez of Santa Fe, Juanita Chavez of Santa Fe, and Delia Minner and husband Rick of Las Vegas; NM, very special brother, Eloy Chavez and wife Andreita, of Las Vegas, NM; sisters, Rita Perea and husband Charlie, of Alamagordo, and Helen Torrez of San Miguel; brother-in-law Gabriel Baca and wife Mary Lou of Las Vegas, NM; and sister-in-law Emelina Gonzales of Rio Rancho. Juan is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary was recited on May 4, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Church with Mass of Christian Burial following. Burial took place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
