Julian Garcia, 36, of Ohkay Owingeh and Picuris Pueblo passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father Ross Garcia Sr., brother Ross Garcia Jr., and grandmother Nancy Salazar Nailor.
Mr. Garcia worked for many years at the Ohkay Owingeh Housing Authority and was recently employed at the Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs. Mr. Garcia enjoyed spending time with his pride and joy: his son Junior, hunting, watching his team, The Green Bay Packers, dancing for the traditional celebrations and playing with his truck in the mud.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his pride and joy, his son Julian Ross Garcia Jr., fiance’ Maria Fresquez, step-son Ethan Segovia, mother Anna Nailor, siblings Eli, Stacey, Isaac and Monica Garcia, niece and nephew Nicodemus and Tyanna, god-daughter Amalia and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Rosary will be held on Monday February 7, 2022 at 5:00 PM at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola. Burial to follow Tuesday February 8, 2022 at 9 AM at the Ohkay Owingeh Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Bernie, John, Aaron, Ryno, Kevin, Eliseo, Kurt, Butter, Jason, Jr., Rick, Simon, Eric, Pablo (Paul), Willie, DeeJay, Mario and Jamo.
