Katie King

Katie King, age 76 of Santa Fe, NM, died peacefully on Thursday, November 19, 2009. She was born in Rowe in 1933 but was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe, until recently residing in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her dear mother Merijilda Rodriguez. A lifelong catholic, Katie was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church in Santa Fe, where all of the funeral services will be held. She is survived by her son Tony King and his longtime girlfriend Debra Archuleta, granddaughters Savannah and Sheena King, great grandson Kaleub " Kai" King Medina, all of Albuquerque; cousins Jimmy King, Jr., Lorraine King who is also her best friend, and Doreen Barela, of Santa Fe and many other relatives. Recitation of the rosary will be on Sunday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, the Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. also at St. Annes.
