When my wife and I purchased land near Mesa Pinabetal in 2003, the first person we met was Leo, who welcomed us to the area. A day or so later, he brought Anita and Ricardo with him to meet us. Ever since then, they have been our good neighbors and friends, and we were invited to get togethers at their house so we eventually got to meet many of his family and relatives. It’s been our good fortune to have such wonderful neighbors! Leo and members of his family have helped us on many occasions; his advice and insight was always valued and made our transition to living here much easier. We will miss him. May he rest in peace.
