Leonardita Sanchez Martinez

Leonardita Sanchez Martinez passed away on September 28, 2007. She loved to make quilts and bake apple pies. She was a Carmelita de Llano de San Juan de Nepomuceno. She is preceded in death by her son, Macario Griego, first husband, Raymundo Griego Sr. and second husband, Chris Martinez, parents, Epifinia & Macedonio Sanchez. She is survived by her children, Esther Medina (Robert) of Denver, CO, Reymundo Griego (Julia) of Penasco, Elmer Griego (Virginia) of Brighton, CO, Eva Griego of Rodarte, Judy Casados (Johnny) of Chamisal, Patsy Griego of Rio Lucio, Freddy Martinez (Sarah Ortiz) of Rodarte and Annette Martinez of Espanola. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren and many other relatives.

The family would like to thank Teresita Montoya for all the love and care she gave to their mother. To Dr. Norte for all the home visits he made and Options Program.

Rosary was recited on September 30, 2007 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco. Funeral mass was held on October 01, 2007 at San Antonio de Padua Church interment followed at Llano de San Juan Cemetery.
