Lesvia was a long time educational assistant for children in special education in the Taos Schools. She loved her work and the children she served. Her collegues respected her. She valued education herself and as an adult earned a BA in education while she worked full time. Her caring, strength and love for children with disabilities was a model for others. She will be missed very much within the schools and community.
