Biography


Lila G. Naranjo passed away on February 16, 2023, at her home in Santa Clara Pueblo.  Lila was born on May 14, 1930 in Sheridan, Wyoming.  She was married to the love of her life, Raymond R. Naranjo for 73 years who passed away in December, 2022. She devoted her life to her family and her church.  She taught catechism for over 40 years to almost all of the children of Santa Clara. Lila is survived by her children Marian, Allen, Roger, Mildred, Daniel, Gilbert and James.  Lila was preceded in death by her son Paul and daughter Rhea.  
 
Rosary services will be held on February 21, 2023 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rivera Family Funeral Services, 305 Calle Salazar, Espanola, NM 87532.  Mass will take place at the Santa Clara Pueblo Catholic Church on February 22nd at 7:30 am followed by burial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 9:30 am
