Linda Jo Martinez, 71, of Talpa passed away peacefully at home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on September 10, 2021. She was a strong woman battling cancer for many years. She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Martinez, three brothers, grandparents and great grandson, Josiah. She is survived by her children, Debbie Lucero, Steve and Jerry Griego, mother, Cecilia Martinez, brother, Ernest Martinez (Shannan), niece, Fatima Martinez, grandchildren, Francisco Lucero (Rachel), Lorenzo Lucero (Maria), great grandchildren, Mikayla, Emiliah and Luca. She had very special friends, Patricia, Penny, Ernest and Pauline Ortiz, Victor and Gerrie Duran and so many more that loved her. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her. She was a loving mom and grandma. She loved her arts and crafts, bingo and cooking.
Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10 AM at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Talpa Cemetery.

Our condolences to the family. May Linda rest in peace. She suffered for so long. We were best friend when we were small, she was so funny. As we grew up, we went our own way but alway talked to catch up on thing. Linda, now you can rest you are with you dad. God bless the family and comfort them.
