Lorenzita Salazar

Ms. Lorenzita Salazar Age 96 – of Espanola died peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. She lived in El Guache in her younger days before moving to Espanola 45 years ago. She was a cook for the Public Schools in Hernandez and in Espanola. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Lazaro and Gregorita Salazar, brothers and sisters: Octavianita Gallegos, Rosarita Manzanares, Jose Salazar, Epifanio Salazar, Juanita Babcock, Luisa Martinez and Arcenio Salazar. She is survived by her sisters, Toni Valencia and husband Hipolito of Espanola, Aurora Archuleta of Fairview, her brother Phil Salazar of Sombrillo, sisters in law Frances Salazar of El Guache, Mary Herrera of Espanola and Lillian Salazar of Santa Fe and special nephew Eppie Salazar and wife Susie of El Guache as well as numerous other family members. The Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00 pm. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada, with the burial to follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
