Sorry to be so late in this remembrance. I was just wondering how Lorey was and found out. Lorey and I worked on one movie together but that was more than enough time for her soul to affect mine for the rest of my life. No one had more zest for life. No one could laugh so big and easy. No one loved a party, a bar, a song, a band, a dance, a joke, a bawdy story, juicy gossip, a good piece of art, good hard work, or love itself than did the Lorey of 1993 in Austin, Texas. Her love of life still affects me. Her heart still means something to me. She saw my shortcomings and laughingly forgave me for being human. She saw her fellows and was amused and she was loving. Such a wonderful person.

To the family of Lorey Sebastian—-it was an honor to have crossed paths with Lorey. We were guests in her home last fall and l fell in love with her as much as her home and hospitality. We loved her stories and her colorful life. We loved her home and the peace it afforded weary travelers. We hope her precious dog is being loved upon. We are shocked and devastated. Peace be upon Lorey’s memory.

I met and worked with Lorey on The Fabulous Baker Boy, 1988.
She was a wonderful, high-spirited, vivacious, uniquely insightful fun loving friend.
I just watched "The Player" and saw her name in the credits . . . .

I met Lorey when I worked at a local bank. She was an amazing woman with so many stories. I will forever remember her and the memories of visiting her on the set of Brothers.
May she rest in peace, my thoughts are with the family.

Dearest Lorey,
How I will miss our coffee talks and November walks. We met on My film Beautiful Girls, and again on the TV show Vegas. We sort of fell in love all over again with shared stores of love and loss and life’s journey. We hiked the trails and sat in the hot springs, ate salmon and drank wine. You were a master at keeping the fire going on cold nights, and your wit and love for news and philosophy kept my mind burning for hours on end. Your were a dear friend and unique in your passion and if your wye did not catch it on camera your mind could hold the resolution forever. Be free and happy and roaming, always. Your friend always Cathy Konrad.

Starting in 1984 I shared 2 films with Lorey, the first she was a friend of a producer and the 2nd I was the friend of a studio. We worked well together, helping each other get the shots we wanted. She assisted me on the gallery on both. She had my back, and never pushed too hard. She used to tease me about liking older women as she was 5 months older than me. We became friends, and remained in touch up until the end. She was a lovely, positive woman and I will miss her.
