Lugarda Trujillo

Lugarda Trujillo age 94 of Ojo Caliente went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 28, 2007. Lugarda was a member of the Holy Family and Sacred Heart Society. She was preceded in death by her parents: Guadalupe and Maximiana Rivera; her first husband, Filiberto Gallegos; son, Tobias Gallegos; second husband, Eugene Trujillo; brothers: Porferio and Alberto Rivera and sister, Eloisa Baca. She is survived by her daughters: Susie Lucero and husband Roman of Ojo Caliente and Carol Ocana and husband Donald of Rio Rancho; eight grandchildren: Lorraine Lucero and husband Eli of Ojo Caliente, Janet Lucero and husband Celestino of Ojo Caliente, Romie Adams and husband Walter of Las Vegas, Roman Lucero, Jr. and Betty Jean of Ojo Caliente, Chris Gurule of Tierra Azul, Michael Gallegos of Albuquerque and Annie and Tamara Roybal of Santa Fe; six great-grandchildren: Walter and Leann Adams of Albuquerque, Anthony Lucero of Espanola, Christina and Esteban Lucero of Ojo Caliente and Jesse Lucero and Josephine of Ojo Caliente; six great-great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Lucero, Esteban Gurule and Serenity, Shania and Cameron Gallegos; sisters in-law, Filomena Rivera and Lilia Gallegos of Pueblo, CO.; brother in-law Ben Gallegos and wife Eufemia of Ojo Caliente; a very special friend, Candie Chacon of Canon de Vallecitos; someone very special to her, Ernesto Rivera of Las Cruces and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A public visitation will be held on Sunday, December 30 at 6:00 pm, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ojo Caliente. Mass of Resurrection will be on Monday at 10:00 am. at the same church, the eulogy being delivered by her grandson Walter Adams, Sr. Interment will follow at Ojo Caliente Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Roman Lucero, Jr., Chris Gurule, Walter Adams, Anthony Lucero, Jesse Lucero and Felipe Rivera, Esteban Lucero, Christina Lucero and Leann Adams.
