Biography

Margaret V. Alcon – Age 82 of Lumberton, NM passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jose and Carlota Lucero; and husband, Albert Jose Alcon. May their souls rest in peace. She is survived by her children: Michael Alcon and wife Patricia of Chama, Ruby Rael and husband David, Jr. of Santa Fe; sisters: Eliza Montoya of Bloomfield and Alice Valdez and husband Alex of Bloomfield; brothers: Joe T. Lucero of Bloomfield and Gilbert Lucero and wife Mary of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren: Hope Gonzales and husband Salomon of Pecos, Eve Espinoza and husband Timothy of Albuquerque, Oona Gonzales of Albuquerque, Santiago Gonzales of Albuquerque and Moriah Rael of Santa Fe; great-grandchildren: Natalie Gonzales of Pecos, Gabriel Gonzales of Pecos and Isabella Espinoza of Albuquerque and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Lumberton, NM with a rosary for the repose of the soul of Margaret Alcon to be recited on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, May 12, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Lumberton, NM with burial to follow at the Lumberton Community Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Michael, David and Toby Montoya, Matthew Valdez, Gilbert Lucero and Santiago Gonzales.
