Maria Gloria Gonzales, 75 of La Villita was called home on February 18, 2022 joining her beloved father, mother, son, daughter and grandchildren where they greeted her as she entered into the gates of Heaven

Maria Gloria was preceded in death by her father Jose Ramon Maestas mother Juanita Mae Gurule son Levi Gonzales daughter Stephanie Maestas grandchildren Kayla Marie Ortiz & Abel Gonzales.  Bother Jose Melesendo Maestas, Sisters Marcella Sisneros, Estella Garcia and Celia Jacquez who she loved and adored as a mother.

Maria Gloria will be remembered for loving, caring, cooking, her home remedies and dichos.  As well as her kindness to give a helping hand to those in need.  She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, great grandchild, the love she had for her family, and her husband of 46 years.

Maria Gloria is survived by her loving husband Floyd Martinez, daughters Bernadette Ortiz (David), Ramoncita Gonzales, Bothers in law and Sisters in law Robert Martinez (Nancy), Connie Martinez, David Martinez (Lori), Patricia Bustos (Jose). Grandchildren Shannon, David jr, Denise, Rikkie Ortiz, Christine, Raymond Gonzales, Germaine, Melinda, Amado Archuleta. Great grandchildren Kylo Ortiz, Heaven Prince, Frankie Medina, Atheenah Medina, Kayla Marie Ortiz, Julian Atencio many other friends and family.

She is greatly loved, will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.

Services will be on Tuesday March 8, 2022. Rosary at 7:00 PM at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, New Mexico. Mass of Christian burial will be March 9, 2022 at 11:30 AM at San Juan Bautista Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial will follow at the La Villita Cemetery. MASKS WIL BE REQUIRED.
