My fondest memory of Marilyn was in 1991 when she helped me pick a labrador puppy out of a litter of 9. Her selection, was of course, right on the money. I could always count on her for sage advice concnerning anything canine. I also appreciate her letting me hang out at her house during my high school years, eating all their food, and bumming rides to cross country meets. She was a stable and positive influence on my adolescence. Oh, and her sense of humor was what really caught my attention. She could always find humor in any situation. She is laughing away over the rainbow bridge surrounded by Carl and the pups....Rest well, Marilyn.

I so enjoyed talking to Marilyn on the phone. She and I shared our love of Welsh terriers and her dedication to rescue and her help was always appreciated. When she called me to say that she was no longer physically able to help, it was such a sad moment for both of us. I hope that she is reunited now with all the people and dogs she loved. I will remember and miss her.
