Mary S Montoya

Mary S. Montoya, 85, of Santa Fe, passed away April 14, 2010 due to Pneumonia. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Montoya.

Mary was born on July 1, 1924, in La Cienega, NM, to Abel and Estanislada Pino. She married Jerry Montoya in January of 1943 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Santa Fe, NM. She was an employee of Mattel Toys for 25 years. Mary was a dedicated member of San Jose Catholic Church in La Cienega, NM.

She is survived by sons Nelson Montoya, of Long Beach, CA, and Mike Montoya and wife Mary, of Rancho Santa Margarita , CA; daughters Sandra Nevares and husband Allan, of Stockton, CA, and Connie Cochran, of Torrance, CA; and grandchildren Lorett Cochran, of San Dimas, CA, Nicole Montoya of Chico, CA, Dawn Owens and husband Jeff, of Lincoln, CA, Holly Coulart, of Modesto, Ca, Carey Nevaves, of Walnut Creek, CA, and Loni Dahlstrom, of Long Beach, CA.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated on April 21, 2010 at San Jose Catholic Church in La Cienega.
